You can come have a beer, right here at the brewery!

Beers On Tap

That’s right, you can stop by and enjoy a beer in the middle of a working brewery! Nestled between the tanks, our taproom features all of our core beers, plus seasonals and exclusive beers only available here. Special event hours and closings are posted here.

On top of that, we have our own food trailer, Can-Tina throughout the week, and we always have piles of new and awesome merch for sale. Stop by and have a beer with the guys that brew your beer!

Hours: Mon: 11-10pm Tue: 11-10pm Wed: 11-10pm Thu: 11-10pm Fri: 11-10pm Sat: 12-8pm Sun: 1-7pm

Exclusives

Pilot

This is our drink-u-bator. Our playground. Our sex machine. It’s a 7-barrel pilot system where we can experiment without having to brew a whole 90-barrel batch. And everyone in the brewery gets a crack at making a beer on it. They just have to research the style and craft a recipe. This has led to some incredible and incredibly-limited beers. So come by if you want something you can’t get anywhere else and you get to see how bad our puns get.

Barrel

Call a sitter. Fake a seizure. Play your get out of jail free card. Just do what you have to do to be here when there's a new barrel release. Whether its a wine barrel-aged sour ale or bourbon barrel Sputnik, these are special moments at ABW because of the time it takes to make these beers. For months – even years – the wood and wild things have been getting all intimate with our beer in the darkness of the barrels. And then the day comes when they meet the world. That’s the day you want to be here.

Core 4 Beers

About Core 4

We brew what we like to drink.

That’s what inspired us to brew our Core Four beers year round. Sure some of our styles take a little longer to brew but, like a good brisket, it’s all worth it. So now, no matter what the situation – from fancy wedding to ill-advised shotgun challenge – there is a can for every occasion. Each one is a crisp, clean example of the style. Each is brewed so you can have more than one in a session. And every single sip is as bold and clean as the first. It’s all about having a strong core.

Anytime Ale

Peacemaker

5.0%

ABV

More Info

Peacemaker was the very first beer we decided to brew. It’s balanced, refreshing, and very sessionable. Peacemaker is simple, but we take it very seriously — a bold and clean beer with nothing to hide behind. It's the beer we drink the most at the brewery. And at home. And on the river. When you have a cold, bright, well-balanced beer like Peacemaker on hand, anytime is a good time to enjoy it.

Hoppy Pale Ale

Flavor Country

5.9%

ABV

More Info

When we began in 2011 it was impossible to brew this Hoppy Pale Ale. The ingredients weren’t available and the science didn’t exist. Oil rich lupulin powder was just a dream. It brings intense flavor but doesn’t linger, drinks like a hop forward pale ale but doesn’t blow you up and every sip leaves you craving more. It’s so special we had to invent a whole new country to explain it. Welcome.

Heavy Machinery

About HM

This is our chance to shake off the gloves and go big. Big IPAs. Big cans. Big warning. Everything about this series is serious. So much in fact we’ve locked in our Pacific Northwest hop suppliers for years in advance. It’s the only way to guarantee the sweet stink of those Simcoe, Centennial and Citra hops. We designed the series to release a new batch every season with a can it takes all season to read.

IPA you missed it

Wet Hop

7.0%

ABV

More Info

Easily, the most special brew in the series because this can only happen once a year. Last year it was a Thursday. On the day our farmer in Oregon harvests the Centennial hops we start brewing. He boxes them up, kisses the label and ships them via Southwest Airlines Cargo (faster than FedEx). So within 12 hours of being picked it’s dropped into the kettle. That’s a wet hop. It’s the greenest, brightest, extra juiciest flavor that you can’t duplicate any other way. The sooner you drink it, the fresher the flavor. Don’t cherish this one – drink up!

Seasonals

About SNLs

Who knew Austin had so many seasons? Spring. Jeez Spring is Hot. Summer. Second Summer. Kill Me Summer. Isn’t It Fall Yet? Almost Winter. Wait, Was That Winter? Spring. Hot Spring.

Well, we’ve got something special for every one of them. And whether it’s a sour wheat or a Russian imperial oatmeal coffee stout your palette can rest assured that each one will be bold and clean.

Berliner Weisse

Einhorn

3.0%

ABV

More Info

The first day you feel the heat on your neck and realize that summer’s here – look to the west! The sky splits open and Einhorn soars down to our rescue with bloated udders filled with magical elixer. No, that’s not where the beer comes from silly – just the secret sauce that turns water into weisse. This Berliner Weisse is low in alcohol and highly carbonated. It’s a sour wheat that’s light, tart, refreshing and just perfect for this time of year. Einhorn will actually make you look forward to the Texas summer.

Blood Orange IPA

Bloodwork Orange

7.0%

ABV

More Info

As part of our ABW Pilot Program, every Beerworker gets the chance to pilot our private bi-plane. Whaaat? No. We have robots for that. Actually they get to make their own beer on our seven-barrel pilot system. That’s how Bloodwork began - with Nick Pratt and a citrusy dream. It was only available in our taproom but was in such high demand it has become our first year-round seasonal. It’s the Sicilain blood oranges added during fermentation that make this a citric symphony of the senses.

More Info

Jordan. Zeppelin. Jon Snow. Like the greats, Black Thunder is back. This is one of our favorite beers of all time – and our most award winning. In hindsight, maybe brewing a black beer with a bold name was a bit much for the average beer drinker. But you knew. You weren’t intimidated. You understood this is a Schwarzbeir (also an intimidating name) - a classic German black lager. Like Pearl Snap. In fact it basically is Pearl Snap with dark malts added. But you knew that. Well now it’s only available for a limited time and you know not to miss its heralded comeback.

Imperial Red Ale

Battle Axe

8.8%

ABV

More Info

The axe drops in fall. Battle Axe is a supercharged ESB. It’s very strong and very balanced. English malt provides a caramelized sweetness on the front end and the American hops provide a full citrus/fruit finish. As big and bold as it is, it’s very easy to drink – deceptively so. Cause this imperial logs in at 8% ABV, just have one and you are set. Immediately. Any more than that and be ready for battle.

Russian Imperial Coffee Oatmeal Stout

Sputnik

8.5%

ABV

More Info

Oats. Cuvee Coffee. Alcohol. And we have liftoff! Like the sight of a comet, the appearance of Sputnik has the locals thanking the brewing gods. As Will says, “we get all science on this shit.” He has developed a proprietary way to introduce the coffee into the beer. We’ve seen it happen and we know a stopwatch and monocle are involved. What happens is it opens up the aromatics without adding any harshness. You get an intense coffee aroma and bold flavor that perfectly compliments the silky oats and high alcohol. It will take your taste buds to orbit.
